Poem To My Brain

You have tried the best

To protect me and to fight

But you help me fight

To know I now do right

To recognize that I can change my thoughts

That it’s neither my fault or yours that the others sometimes fester

But you, smart brain, we always stick together

You’re filled with emotion that spreads to my heart

This is now

A clean new start
